I love this video from Selena Resvani. It makes me even more optimistic about the future of work not being based around hierarchy.

"Gen Z has grown up watching outdated hierarchies fail."

Yes!

I've spent the last decade witnessing first-hand how hierarchies are breaking down. Yet, the inertia around them is so strong that many leaders still cling to the belief that they work.

I get it. Admitting that the very foundation of your organisation is flawed is painful and difficult to do something about. It’s far easier to find other reasons for failure than to question the structure itself.

But change is coming. As Gen Z steps into leadership, hierarchies will erode.

Smart leaders aren’t waiting – they're acting now.
