Meetings are the tax you pay to do the work you want to do.

When teams try to collaborate on a project, it often starts well, but it quickly dissolves into chaos and inaction and the only outcome of each meeting is ‘let’s have another meeting’. Bad times.

Jonathan Courtney at AJ&Smart calls this ‘Collaboration Chaos,’ and we’ve all been there – the endless cycle of ineffective meetings.

Problems include:

  • No clear objectives

  • Lack of good process

  • Ineffective or non-existent facilitation

  • No actionable outcomes

It’s my mission to make meetings more efficient, more productive and more fun And, ideally for there to be fewer of them.

I can help in two ways:

  1. I can coach your people on good facilitation – either by facilitating a single meeting or workshop, joining your team for a project, or joining your organisation on a contract basis to instil a culture of better meetings.

  2. I run a course called The Meetings Revolution, which teaches teams how to have fewer but more productive meetings.
